Anaconda girls take down Blue Devils

Taylor Flynn’s 19 points led the way as Anaconda’s girls’ basketball team closed out the first day of the Southwestern A Divisional tournament with a 50-43 win over Corvallis. STATS

Anaconda advances to play Dillon in Friday’s 8 p.m. semifinal.

Fellow senior Courtney Moodry added 16 points for Anaconda, which improved to 11-8 overall. Kiernan Gallagher scored six, while Molly Huber netted five.

Jane Booth led Corvallis with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Corinne Sanders scored 13, and Chelsi Clarke tossed in 12.

The Blue Devils head to Saturday morning loser-out play.
