Although the trio of Montana, Montana State and Weber State led the league with four selections each, UC Davis had the most first team honorees as tight end McCallan Castles and punter Daniel Whelan represented the Aggies.

Preseason league MVPs Eric Barriere of Eastern Washington and Tre Walker of Idaho continued to rack up the accolades, as the pair highlighted the first team list for HERO Sports. The dynamic duo were also named to the Walter Payton Award and Buck Buchannan Award watch lists last week.

A brand-new football season is right around the corner, as Southern Utah will be the first Big Sky squad out of the gate in 2021 when the Thunderbirds open the year on Saturday, Aug. 28 at San Jose State.
