BILLINGS — Montana Tech’s loss is Rocky Mountain College’s gain.

Rocky Mountain College coach Bill Dreikosen announced the signing of former Oredigger Lukas Vining this morning.

The 6-foot-3 Vining has two seasons of eligibility remaining. Because of conference transfer rules, Vining will have to redshirt during the 2007-18 season.

Vining, a Great Falls High product, played as a true freshman for the Orediggers during the 2015-16 school year. He averaged 11 points and four rebounds per game last season at Tech.

“Lukas is an excellent competitor and has a good understanding of the game,” Dreikosen said in a statement “We believe he will make a positive impact on our team and we look forward to having him join our program.”
