The Southwest Montana Baseball Camp will be held Thursday at Miners Field at 3 Legends Stadium. The camp will be for players age 8 through 18. The camp for younger players runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., while the older camp runs from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Enrollment is limited, and cost is $60.
Ryan Wardinsky, a major league scout for the Miami Marlins, will conduct the camp along with Belgrade Bandits coach Johnny Graham and Butte Miners coaches Jeff LeProwse and Craig Smith. Butte High’s football program will hold three camps at Naranche Stadium during the month of June. A camp ninth graders (heading into next school year) will be held June 4-8 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. each day. A camp for players entering 10th through 12th grade also runs June 4-8 from 3:30 p.m. each day. Cost for the ninth and 10-through-12 camps is $60, and a family discount is available. A camp for players entering fourth through eighth grade will run June 25-27 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. each day. (Note: the time was changed after the camp was first announced.) The annual Champions Football Camp for boys entering second through 12th grades will be held July 23-26 in Butte. The camp, which is sponsored by the Butte Central football program, will be held on Torger Oaas Maroon Field at the Maroon Activities Center. The camp will be staffed by the Butte Central coaches and several former Maroon players who are now in college programs.
The camp for seventh through 12th graders will be held Monday through Thursday from 5:30-8 p.m. The mini-camp for second through third grades will be held Tuesday through Thursday morning from 9:30-11a.m. The camp will focus on fundamentals by position, team development and fun. The cost for the younger camp will be $25, and the cost for the older camp will be $50. Discounted rates will be offered for families with more than one camper.

Butte Central’s Heart & Hustle “Never Give Up” Basketball Camp will be held July 9-11 at the Maroon Activities Center. A camp for girls entering first through fourth grade will run from 9-11:30 a.m. each day. The camp for girls entering fifth through 12th grade will go from 6 to 9 p.m.

The Southwest Montana Basketball Academy hosted by Quinn Peoples will return to the Maroon Activities Center this summer. Four weeks of group skills training begins the week of June 16. Individual one-on-one training will also be available.
Peoples is a four-year starter at MSU-Billings, an NCAA Division II basketball program. Before that, she helped lead the Butte Central Maroons to the 20011 Class A state championship. She was also an assistant coach of the BC state championship team in 2016, when Peoples was named the MHSA Assistant Coach of the Year. Click here for more information.
Butte High’s Mile High Wrestling Camp will be held July 25-27 at the Bulldog wrestling room. The camp is open for wrestlers 5 years old through high school. Wrestlers 5-8 will go from 8:30 to 10 a.m. each day, while older wrestlers will camp from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Camp clinicians included the Butte High coaching staff, Bryon Hallock of Glasgow, Butte Sports Hall of Famer Mark Johnston and more. The Butte High soccer program will host the 2018 Mile High Soccer Camp July 23-26 at the Jeremy Bullock Soccer Complex. The camp, which will be conducted by the Butte High boys’ and girls’ coaching staffs, is for boys and girls entering kindergarten through 12th grade in the fall. The camp will run from 8 to 11 a.m. for high school players and from 5:15-8:15 p.m. for players entering kindergarten through eighth grade. The Butte High School Skills Volleyball Camp will run July 16-18 at the high school. That camp is for players entering ninth through 12th grades. The Butte Tennis Association and the Butte-Silver Bow Parks and Recreation will host summer tennis camps at Father Sheehan Park. The cams are four youth, teen and adult players. Learn to play the game or brush up on your stroke. The camps will run June 11-14, July 9-12 and Aug. 6-9 Cost is $35, and that includes a T-shirt and a BTA membership. Adult lessons and workouts will also be held in conjunction with the summer tennis program.

The Mining City FC/Butte Soccer Club will host several camps this summer at the Jeremy Bullock Complex.
The Club Summer Soccer Program will be held for players from first through eighth grade. It will run July 9 through Aug. 10. Practice sessions will be held Monday and Wednesday nights as follows Games will be held on Friday nights.
The Tetra Brazil camp will run July 16-20. It is open to players age 10-18, and half-day or full-day camps will be offered.
Butte High’s Mining City Soccer camp will run July 23-26. That camp is open to players from kindergarten through 12th grade. Butte High coaches will conduct the camp.
Also, the British Soccer Camp for players 3 through 14 will run July 30-Aug. 3.
