Raiders host Blue Hawks in first round of playoffs

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Dickinson State will once again open the NAIA playoffs on the road against the Frontier Conference champion.

The 9-1 Blue Hawks, who lost in the first round at Montana Tech the last two seasons, will travel to Southern Oregon to take on the 10-0 Raiders next Saturday.

The pairings for the 2017 NAIA Football Championship Series were announced this afternoon.

Southern Oregon, which completed its perfect regular season with a 24-10 win over Montana Tech Saturday in Butte, is the only Frontier Conference team in the 16-team playoff field.
