KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Montana Tech junior setter Hannah Liss was named a 2017 Daktronic-NAIA Women’s Volleyball Scholar Athlete.
In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended two full years as a non-transfer or one full year as a transfer.
Liss, a Kalispell native, is pursuing a degree in general engineering and carries a 3.59 GPA.
Montana Western’s Brianna Hanser, Kylie McCree and Kyla Paulsen were also named Scholar Athletes, as were Mallory Arbizzani, Catherine Sloan, Marija Nicksic, Rayna Pilgeram and Casey McInerney of Carroll College.
