KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Quinn McQueary did a little double dipping Monday.
Shortly after the Montana Tech quarterback was named the Frontier Conference Offensive Player of the Week, McQueary was named the NAIA Offensive Player of the Week.
This is the first week of the national award for the 2017 season.
The 6-foot-3 senior quarterback led the Oredigger offense to a record-setting performance against MSU-Northern on Saturday. Montana Tech scored a school record 70 points downing the Lights 70-27 in Havre.
McQueary went 21 of 31 passing for 359 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed for 73 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries. The Manhattan native also had a catch on the day with a 33-yard reception from Dion Williams.
