Following is the Week 4 roundup from the Mining City Little Guy Football program.
Thompson Distributing Vikings 32, Rainbow Photo/John’s Pork Chop Patriots 0
Cayden McNeal and Colin Richards-Doyle each scored their first touchdowns of the season to highlight the Vikings win. Levi Ortegon made a clutch catch, while Chris Knutson and Riley Hudson played great on D.
The Patriots got great play on both sides of the ball by Cale Johnson. He picked off a pass and made a nice long pass. Keytahn Riddle checked in with some nice receiving, and Zane Beckman was tough all around.
Harrington Pepsi Chargers 14, Steele’s Warehouse Dolphins n/a
Hudson Luedtke was a beast on the ground, carrying the ball for a score for the Chargers. Prestin Muns ran hard, breaking a long touchdown run. Raya O’Connell, Ethan Sweet, Gavin Rowe, Chance Simpson, Dallas Richards-Doyle and Tre Antonioli cleared plenty of room for the runners. The Charger D also had a great day.

Lil Copperheads Cowboys 6, Buffalo Wild Wings Steelers 2
Ryan Smith did a great job clogging holes on defense and blocking on offense for the Cowboys. Tanner Cromwell did a great job at safety and wide receiver. He blocked well and tackled like a beast. Also, Jessie Holdaway did an awesome job running the ball and being everywhere on the field.
A strong team defense got great performances for Austin Beckman, Nathan Billson and Austin Eggers to lead the Steelers. Joey Wall and Tyse Stevens provided great blocking, and Nolan Casey made three nice catches.
Thriftway Giants 21, McQueen Athletic Club Colts 12
Kyle Kinsey played outstanding in the trenches, and Kyler Kjersten intercepted a pass to lead the Giants. Luke McMahon was a force on defense, while Cody Beckman was awesome on special teams.
Brenner Booth and Burke McGruder scored touchdowns for the Colts. Titan Mansell registered three receptions, Coy Campbell caught one pass, Jake Hennley was tough in the trenches, and Jay Tierney made some great kicks.
Lisac’s Tire Raiders 2, Pioneer Technical Packers 0
Led by the play of Matthew Yong, Kalli Langley and Aidan Tierney, the Raiders defense was stingy enough for the win. John Sullivan and Brendan O’Boyle were enforcers at safety.
Blake “Frank Gore” Facincani “blew up the offense” from defensive tackle for the Packers. Rye Doherty had big hits all day from his linebacker position, and Jager Gunderson caught a long pass. Also, Isaac Kohler made a lot of tackles at safety, and Bridger Schutte stuffed the run from inside linebacker.
Newland & Company Bengals, Lil Copperheads Bears 0
Kevin Donaldson scored a touchdown on a great run, and Taylor Parks caught a touchdown pass in the Bengals win. Eli Rand and Rye Vincent played great on both sides of the ball, and Daniel Harrington and Kaden Hennessy blocked well.

Casagranda’s Seahawks 20, Glacier Bank Rams 0
Running touchdowns by John McCarthy and Kyle Holter highlighted the Seahawks win. Dougie Peoples hit tight end Tyson Swan for six. Also, Cayden Kibler and Eric Schultz played great on the line, Ty Jacobs picked off a pass, Logan Dubois forced a fumble, and Joe Schrader recovered a fumble.
Great play from Tanner McDaniel, Ryan Singleton and Grady Quilici helped the Rams complete their first pass of the season. Reid Whitlock and Eric Loos played solid defense, and Patrick Paulsen supplied his best protection of the season.
Sports Fanz Redskins 16, First Citizens Bank Falcons 10
Taylor Sampson was brilliant on his birthday for the Redskins. Austin Zinda and Logan Thomas shored the line, Trevor Nisbet was great on defense, and Wyatt Gross was efficient in the backfield. Gary Rubusch and Jake Luoma blocked well.
For the Falcons, Rueso Batterman was excellent at tailback, Brayden and Jayden Doherty played great at cornerback, Zack O’Connell picked off a pass from his safety spot, and Jason Gifford played well at guard.1 comment
