Following are game reports from Week 3 of the Mining City Little Guy Football program.
Thriftway Giants 28, Harrington Pepsi Chargers 0
Gunner Reopelle played a stellar game for the Giants, scoring a touchdown, recovering a fumble and intercepting a pass. Tyler Wasley added some great defense and a TD in the win. Luke McMahon was a brick house on defense, and Michael Coyne was a key player on both sides of the ball.
Essynce Nixon made a tough catch and played well on defense for the Chargers. Lineman Chance Sampson played well on both sides, Hudson Luedke carried the ball for tough yards, and Dallas Richards-Doyle played well.
Casandra’s Seawhawks 18, Lil Copperheads Bears 12
Ryan Stenson got his first start at quarterback and had a great game in the win. Tyson Swan scored three TDs, while Hayden Kearns, Tucker Sawtell and Cayden Kibler played great on both sides of the ball. Also, Omar Sepulveda and Mitchell Mihailovich made some good tackles.
Tommy Sawyer returned an interception 35 yards for a touchdown, and Gabe Galle punched in a 2-yard touchdown to lead the Bears. Ethan Goldberg was the teams’ defensive MVP, while Kolyn “Meat” Wold was the offensive MVP.
Lil Copperheads Cowboys 30, First Citizens Bank Falcons 0
Dillon Taylor took an interception to the shop for a touchdown and did a great job tackling to lead the Cowboys to the win. River Hurley did a great job shedding blockers and making tackles. He also was a solid blocker on offense. Also, Wade Dahood had a big game.
Canyon Kibler played well at linebacker, and Aiden Durkin was a sparkplug on defense for the Falcons. Goby Bueler played a solid game at cornerback.

Unfortunately, no highlights were reported for the victors in this game.
Peyton Seymour and Robert Tyson recovered fumbles, and Derek Dunmire registered an interception for the Patriots. D.J. Singh played on both lines, and Kaden Malone mad some great defensive stops.
Lisac’s Tire Raiders 36, Newland & Company Bengals 6
Jonas Sherman excelled on offense, and Wyatt Mullaney and Andrew Dillon anchored a strong defense to lead the Raiders. Kalli Langley and David Blue were standouts on special teams.
Lance Insko caught a touchdown pass for the Bengals. Nick Bailey and Beau Dessing played good defense, and Ethan Cunningham played well on both sides of the ball.
Buffalo Wild Wings Steelers 20, Thompson’s Distributing Vikings 14
Grady Winston scored two touchdowns, including the game winner, as the Steelers pulled out the victory. Corey Anderson played strong at middle linebacker, Nolan Casey played well at quarterback, tight end and linebacker, and Garrett Sharp played tremendously on both sides of the ball. Also, Jake Tauscher was a force at defensive end.
Bo Demarais rushed for two touchdowns for the Vikings. Colin Richards-Doyle and Gavin Doesty played great on defense, while Luke O’Dell was a force on the offensive line.
Pioneer Technical Packers 26, Glacier Bank Rams 14
Mike McGivern scored on a short run and broke loose for a long TD run to lead the Packers. Wiley Dallasera added a TD run in the win. Isaiah Bergren played great defense and recovered a fumble. MaKenna Bazo also played great defense while saving the game with a safety.
Keaton Snyder made his first start at quarterback and hooked up with Sean Ossello for a touchdown for the Rams. Grady Quilicy and Erik Wold blocked their hearts out, and Hunter Holms stopped all runs to his side of the field.
Opportunity Bank Buccaneers 12, Steele’s Warehouse Dolphins
Braydon Pierce and Ben Tierney ran for touchdowns to lead the Bucs to victory. Cashton Spolar played great defense in the win. Gaige Malcom and Seth Day covered the ball really well, while Patrick Stimatz and Will Stepan played well at quarterback.
Tocher Lee’s played great at quarterback, scoring a touchdown, for the Dolphins. Trey McCarthy hauled in a great catch and made a big run, and Shade Pohia played tremendous defense.
