WHITEFISH — Ryan Imhoff of Carroll College and Jansen Edmiston of Lewis-Clark State College were named Frontier Conference Players of the Week, the league announced today.
Imhoff took home the men’s award, while Edmiston was named the women’s top player.
Imhoff is a 6-foot-6 senior guard from Napa, California. No. 4 Carroll went 3-0 during a swing through California. The Saints beat Bethesda College 85-55, No. 11 Vanguard (Calif.) 82-73 and a 96-53 victory over Westcliff University.
Imhoff averaged 21.7 points, six rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.7 steals. He was 25 of 36 from the field (69 percent) including 3 of 3, 3-point field goals, and he was 12 for 15 (80 percent) from the free throw line.
Jake Miles of Montana Tech and Dom Robinson of Montana Western were also nominated for the award.
Edmiston is a 5-9 sophomore guard from Hermiston, Oregon. The Warriors beat Salish-Kootenai College 102-35.
In the win, she scored 19 points, pulled down two rebounds, and recorded eight assists and five steals. Edmiston was 6 of 9 from field (68 percent) and 6 of 7 from the free throw line.
Bailey Pasta of Carroll College was also nominated.
