Dawgs outrun Coyotes

DILLON — Dom Robinson and Brandon Jones combined for 48 points Friday night, and Montana Western outpaced the College of Idaho for a 91-82 win at the Straugh Gymnasium. Stats

Robinson scored 25 points and dished out five assists, while Jones poured in 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the win.

Western also got 14 points from Zaccheus Darko-Kelly and 11 from Kooper Kidgell as the No. 8  Bulldogs improved to 4-0.

Nate Bruneel scored 21 points to lead COI. Justin Saunders and Keun Palu-Thompson easch scored 15, and Roosevelt Adams netted 14.

The Bulldogs led 40-35 at halftime and outscored the Coyotes 51-47 in the second half.

Next up for the Bulldogs is Wednesday’s exhibition game at Montana State.
