Crystal Park Temporarily Closed June 26 – 30 for Renovations
Dillon, Montana, June 19, 2017 — The Dillon Ranger District will be temporarily closing Crystal Park from June 26 through 30 in order to conduct rehabilitation of the area and install a crystal washing station.
During this time heavy equipment will be blading spoil piles and filling hazardous open pits that have accumulated over time and use. “We appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience while the work occurs,” said Dillon District Ranger Scot Shuler. “Our plan is to make Crystal Park a safer and more productive site for crystal hunters.”
Crystal Park will reopen to the public on Saturday, July 1. For more information contact the Dillon Ranger District at (406) 683-3900.
