Cobras season ends with 6-3 loss at Idaho

McCALL, Idaho — The Butte Cobras saw their season end Saturday night with a 6-3 loss to the Idaho Jr. Steelheads.

The victory gives the defending Thorne Cup champion Steelheads a two-game sweep in the Northwest Division series championship. It sends Idaho to the final four.

The Cobras close the season at 36-20-2. The season saw Butte claim third place in the Northwest Division in the regular season.

Butte swept the Bellingham Blaze and the Southern Oregon Spartans in playoff series before falling to Idaho, which won the Cup five out of the last six seasons.
